Things to do this week 1/7-1/13

Well the College football season has come to an end this year and the National Championship is happening on Monday 1/7/13 with #1 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish taking on #2 Alabama Crimson Tide for the BCS title.  The Alabama Crimson tide won decisively with little resistance from the Irish.

This is a game worth watching so set some time tomorrow to get together with some friends or family and take in this highly anticipated title game.  This game was exciting if you are an Alabama fan.  If you are a Notre Dame fan you are probably embarrassed of the Irishs's performance.

Another thing to do this week is to set some time out this week to get some exercise, find an activity you like to do that you can get some exercise with.  Personally I am going to play some tennis this week.
On Tuesdays at Balboa Park here in San Diego some of the museums are free.  Check your local city and find out if there is a day when a local attraction or museum are free.  It's a great way to stimulate your mind, have fun doing something different.

Another thing I am going to check out this week is an art exhibit in Little Italy in San Diego called @2400RPM.  It goes each day this week from 12:00-6:00pm.

This sounds really interesting because the Artist Doyle Reno works with a really tough medium or materials and he creates hand reversed-sculpted cast acrylic works.  These are created at around 20,000 RPM.  I don't know much more about this but I plan on finding out more about it.  Below is a link for it:

If I learn of anything else incredible I will be sure to post it for you my friends.
Have a great week and carpe diem!
